The first-cycle studies in
Quantitative Methods in Economics and Information Systems at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics provide basic knowledge in the field of economics, management and finance as well as the canon of knowledge related to quantitative methods in economics and information systems.
The studies also include practical courses in the area of statistical and econometric analyses, decision-making, information technology and demography. The programme offers a choice between two educational profiles, one focusing on quantitative methods in economics, the other, on business informatics.
The studies develop competencies necessary either to start a career in business entities and institutions where it is essential to use mathematical, statistical, econometric and IT tools or to manage one’s own business. They form a sound theoretical and methodological basis for the second-cycle studies.
