We kindly inform you that in order to submit original documents, you should book an appointment through the Internet Registration System (a new message has been posted in the "Announcements" section). Alternatively, you may also send the original documents by post, as detailed below. The final deadline for submission of the original documents is 30 April 2021.

Supplementary   admission for studies in English​2 ​









1 Unless the admission decision stipulates otherwise.
2 If the Rector decides about supplementary admission.
During the period of epidemic threat or the state of epidemic, due to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus causing the COVID-19 disease, students who have been admitted to studies in the 2020/2021 academic year may send to SGH by registered post :
- the originals of the required documents that constituted the basis for admission to studies, or
- copies of these documents certified by a notary as true copies of the original (students who submit such copies will be required to present the originals of these documents in order to confirm the data contained therein and complete the student's file, immediately after the end of the period of epidemic threat or the state of epidemic).
The documents should be sent to the following address: SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Admissions Office, al. Niepodległości 162, 02-554 Warsaw, Poland.

Submission of original documents

First year students  are required to submit the complete set of required documents within t​he specified deadline with the purpose of making certified true copies.​
A student is required to submit:
1. Polish maturity certificate, or an equivalent foreign document, for instance secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma (including a supplement, if applicable) entitling you to apply for admission to studies in the country (or in the education system) where your document was issued.
In the case of non-Polish and non-EU/OECD/EFTA  educational documents (IB and EB diplomas excluded), you should also:
  • legalise or apostille your certificate or diploma;
  • submit a sworn translation into Polish or English of your certificate or diploma (including its supplement - if applicable);
  • submit a decision on recognition of your school-leaving certificate or diploma as soon as possible after your arrival to Poland – read more about this procedure herePlease note that the school-leaving certificate recognition requirement does not apply to IB and EB diplomas, documents issued in EU or OECD/EFTA member states, as well as in China, Belarus, Ukraine and Libya.
2.  A document confirming knowledge of English.

3.  Signed application form printed from the on-line registration system.

4. Four signed copies of the agreement on terms of payment for educational services (two in Polish and two in English).

5. Consent form the applicant's parents or legal guardians (applicable to applicants who are under 18 years old).

6. Power of attorney​ - only if the documents are submitted through a representative.

7. Statement on the name change (if applicable)
