Mode of study:

​​The first-cycle studies in Management at the Warsaw School of Economics provide theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of management and related sciences concerning the nature, regularities and problems connected with the operation of an organization. The studies develop the skills necessary to start a career as a specialist or middle manager in a variety of organizations, including businesses, non-profit organizations, public administration units and local self-government at various levels or doing business. They give a good theoretical and methodological basis to take up the second-cycle studies.


Students will be given the opportunity of choosing between two specialisations:

  • Project Management,
  • Entrepreneurship.

2000 EUR per semester


​A graduate of the first-cycle studies in the field of Management at the Warsaw School of Economics:

  • knows how to reach sources of knowledge and use them in management processes,
  • knows how to diagnose and solve problems related to the basic management functions: planning, organizing, motivating, monitoring and coordinating,
  • is able to formulate project problems and to plan and control projects,
  • knows how to perform basic functions of management and processes in economic and administrative organizations,
  • knows how to think logically, analyse and form synthesis,
  • has the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the surroundings and working environment,
  • knows how to work in a team,
  • speaks fluently two foreign languages, or one foreign language at an advanced level having graduated from part-time studies. ​
